Willis named to North Carolina Community Foundation statewide board of directors

The North Carolina Community Foundation is pleased to announce the election of Mary Willis to the statewide board of directors.
Willis is the CEO, president and chair of Fidelity Bank. She is an NCCF fundholder and the daughter of founding board member Billy Woodard. She served as CFO of the bank for 11 years before becoming CEO. She is a member of the board of trustees of Campbell University and the board of directors of the NC Bankers Association. Willis is an ECU graduate and was raised in Fuquay-Varina where she now lives with her husband and three children.
James Black, NCCF board chair, said he was looking forward to working with Willis. “Mary brings a wealth of business expertise and executive leadership to our board,” he said. “She is a true asset to the North Carolina Community Foundation and our state.”
