Wilmington Civitans now accepting scholarship applications

   The Wilmington Civitan Club is now accepting applications for the Wilmington Civitan Scholarship, according to Nancy Pritchett, chair of the scholarship committee. 

   Scholarships are available for students from New Hanover and Pender Counties who are interested in pursing higher education at a college or community college.  The committee will consider character, financial need and service to the community when selecting recipients. 

   Applications and financial information forms are available online at www.nccommunityfoundation.org/scholarships (select New Hanover from the drop-down list of counties).  The application deadline is April 2, 2012.

   Students may also access the 2012 Wilmington Civitan application by clicking here and the financial information form by clicking here.  Please read through all the instructions carefully.  The committee will not consider incomplete applications.
