Criteria

Graduating senior from an Edgecombe County high school who has been accepted at a college, community college, university or other qualified institution of higher learning and plans to attend the following fall semester or earlier, if applicable. Other factors to be considered in selection include high character, pleasing personality, the ability for cooperation and leadership as exemplified by the student’s school life and association with fellow students. Financial need will be considered but is not required. Work experience is highly favored.
