Criteria

Individuals between the ages of 16 and 25 who have received or are expecting to receive a high school degree or its equivalent and who have worked a minimum of two complete seasons at Highlands Country Club located in Highlands, NC, or who are children of an employee of Highlands Country Club who has worked a minimum of two complete seasons at the Club; be enrolled full-time in undergraduate studies at a two-year or four-year accredited community college, college or university; and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of academic achievement, school and community activities, motivation and leadership. Financial need may also be taken in consideration, especially in the event a tie-breaker is needed.
