Criteria

Graduating senior at Pender High School with a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher, accepted into a North Carolina accredited school, with documented financial need as verified by a FAFSA Student Aid Report. Additionally, students must complete the scholarship application, write an essay, submit seventh semester transcript, and participate in the interview process for final selection. In order to maintain eligibility and receive the scholarship for eight semesters, the student must remain in good standing with the institution of higher learning, maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, and forward a transcript to the Pender County Board of Education no later than June 15 each year.
