James Dylan Young is a recipient of the Eli and Gertrude Baer Scholarship Endowment for Triton High School. He is currently in his first year at East Carolina University.

At Triton High School Dylan became a certified nurse assistant and was involved in HOSA, a future health professional organization. He plans to continue involvement in pre-health organizations in college to supplement his degree in biology or nursing at ECU, where he is also already a part of BioLL – a living and learning community for those interested in majoring in biology.

At the moment Dylan is undecided between working towards becoming a physician’s assistant, nurse or a dentist.
