Next in our Scholar Spotlight series is Holly Perry from Macclesfield. Holly is a recipient of the Robert E. Barnhill, Sr. Scholarship and a graduate of SouthWest Edgecombe High School. She is currently attending East Carolina University to study business with a concentration in accounting.

Holly has always had an interest in baking and decorating cakes. She hopes to combine her love of baked goods and business and someday own a bakery of her own. As a first generation college student, Holly tells us that she has seen the costs associated with not having a degree and is determined not to let anything stand in the way of her education. She intends to encourage younger generations to follow the same path.
