Kelsey Williams
The latest student to be profiled in our Scholar Spotlight feature is Kelsey Williams from Raleigh. Kelsey is a recipient of the Katie Dunn Rogers Scholarship. She graduated from Broughton High School and has just started attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Kelsey wants to be a pediatric dentist, which is the perfect combination of her interests in children, helping others and dental hygiene. She is proud to have the opportunity to attend such a prestigious university and will take advantage of its outstanding dental program. She plans to work hard and serve as an example to students at Broughton by volunteering her time as a mentor to them. She also hopes that by becoming the first doctor in her family, she will serve as an example to her younger family members. The NCCF wishes all the best to Kelsey!
