Meet our next scholarship recipient in our Scholar Spotlight series: Tamera McLeod from Rocky Point. She is a recipient of the Rotary Club of Burgaw Scholarship.

Tamera is a recent graduate of Pender High School and is currently in her first year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is majoring in biology on the pre-med track with plans to become a pediatrician.

Tamera plans to stay involved in the UNC Chapel Hill community by becoming a part of the Division of Multicultural Affairs and other clubs suited to her interests. The NCCF wishes Tamera the best of luck!
