Abbey serves as a Program Officer in the East where she is dedicated to fostering strong community partnerships and driving positive change.
Originally from Los Angeles, Abbey ventured to Furman University and studied abroad in Jerusalem and Cuba. After graduating, she moved to Elizabeth City to be closer to family and then led a nonprofit focused on English Language Learner education, community development, and grant management.
In her free time, Abbey enjoys life in Elizabeth City with her dog Lucy Beans, often by the river, cooking with friends and family, or cultivating her green thumb.”
