About Jake
Jake Pope is responsible for development in the communities that make up the central region of the state – Northern Piedmont, the Sandhills and the Coastal Plains.
His work is to identify and cultivate donors throughout the region by developing relationships with professional advisors, individuals, businesses, other foundations and nonprofit organizations, with a goal of building and growing charitable assets, primarily endowment funds.
A native of Burlington, he received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in business administration from Elon University in 2001 and 2013 respectively. He brings to NCCF an extensive background in philanthropic development spanning higher education and nonprofits.
Jake lives in Hillsborough with his wife Lisa, and children Kayla, Camden and Bennett.
