Jason joined the North Carolina Community Foundation in 2024 as Content Creator, a position that highlights the impact of the NCCF through various mediums.
Jason is a multi-skilled storyteller who worked in local television for more than 20 years. In his previous role, he was the Sports Director at WRAL in Raleigh. Through his freelance videography business, he produced promotional videos for numerous nonprofits.
A North Carolina native, Jason was born in Raleigh and has spent most of his life living and working in the state. He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism, graduating with honors from the University of Missouri.
Jason lives in Holly Springs with his wife, Martha, and their two boys. When they’re in town, you can probably find them at a local community event, at church, on a ballfield, a brewery, or a concert. Jason also serves on his church council and is committee chair for his son’s Cub Scout pack.
