About Katie
Katie B. Crumpler is the Executive Liaison for the North Carolina Community Foundation, where she works with the President/CEO on special projects, statewide board and committee assignments, fund and community initiative preparation, and is occasionally on loan to any department that needs her!
She has worked previously for NCCF as scholarship associate, regional associate, and regional director in both the Central and Western regions, as well as a grants committee member of the NC Healing Communities Fund. She has supported affiliate boards’ community leadership initiatives, developed funds within the regions, worked with local nonprofits to strengthen their work, built relationships with donors and fund holders, and promoted scholarship opportunities.
Katie’s career has been in the nonprofit sector, with experience including the Public School Forum of NC and the NC Healthy Start Foundation. Originally from Linville Falls, she received her Master of Public Administration degree, along with a graduate certificate in nonprofit management, from NC State University. Her undergraduate degree is in political science and history from UNC-Greensboro. She is an alumna of the Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) through the Institute for Educational Leadership and the Rural Economic Development Institute (REDI) through the North Carolina Rural Center. Katie lives in the Charlotte area with her husband and daughter.
