Operations Support Specialist
Makayla is an Operations Support Specialist for the Finance and Administration Team. Prior to joining NCCF in 2025, she supported annual fundraising efforts as a Development Officer for Legal Aid of North Carolina, a nonprofit working to increase access to civil legal services across the state.
A native of North Carolina, Makayla graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work from NC State University in 2021. She currently lives in Raleigh and enjoys baking, crafting, walking and spending time with her cats: Misha, Marceline and Krueger.
