Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation awards $2,360 in local grants

The board of advisors of the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation recently announced $2,360 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund.

The board granted:

  • $590 to Albemarle Commission Senior Nutrition Program for Hyde County 2021-2022 Meals on Wheels
  • $590 to Hyde County Cooperative Extension for Nutrition Education Opportunities
  • $590 to Purpose of God Annex Outreach Center for Family Matters
  • $590 to Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce Foundation for Bright Futures

Bill Rich, board president, thanked the community for its continued support of the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation.  “We’re proud to make grants to create real change in our community,” he said. “These organizations are meeting critical local needs that we are proud to support, today and everyday.”

The Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation is a growing family of philanthropic funds, source of grants for local causes and partner for donors.
