The board of advisors of the Alleghany County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications from area nonprofits that serve general needs in the local community.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general community needs in Alleghany County. Grants will be awarded from the Alleghany Opportunity Fund. Awarded proposals have historically averaged $1,000 although the board will review requests up to $5,000. Applications are available beginning March 15.
