{"title":"Applying for grants","content":"<p>The Alleghany County Community Foundation (ACCF) will accept grant applications from March 17, 2023, to NOON on April 18, 2023. Funds are available for qualified charitable organizations serving the local community.<\/p>\r\n<p>Grants have historically averaged $1,000, but total grantmaking will not exceed $19,000.<\/p>\r\n<h4>How to apply<\/h4>\r\n<p>ACCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF). Organizations must apply for grants using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantinterface.com\/Home\/Logon?urlkey=nccommunityfoundation\">NCCF&rsquo;s online application system<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Read the <a href=\"\/apply\/grants\/community-grantmaking\">guidelines<\/a> before you apply. Your application may not be considered if you fail to follow any of these guidelines.<\/li>\r\n<li>If this is your first time applying, follow the instructions in <a href=\"https:\/\/nmcdn.io\/e186d21f8c7946a19faed23c3da2f0da\/7868d48393ef4e3bb7bca8cdf7bc2f20\/files\/2017_Grants_Tutorial_Series_Module-I_Creating_a_New_Profile.pdf\">Training Module I<\/a> to create a profile.
