Community grants available from the Bertie-Hertford Women's Fund

The members of the Bertie-Hertford Women's Fund are accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.

Applications are available beginning March 11. Visit nccommunityfoundation.org for information about applying. The deadline for applications is April 12 at noon.

The Bertie-Hertford Women's Fund accepts grant applications from organizations that support the needs of women and/or children in areas of health, education, and human services in Bertie and Hertford counties. Grants range from $500 to $2,500. Funds are awarded by the members of the Bertie-Hertford Women's Fund, a program of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF).

“We are honored to offer grants to the wonderful nonprofits serving our local community,” said Claudia Griffin, fund president. “We know our community is stronger because of these organizations and we’re grateful to support them.”

The Bertie-Hertford Women's Fund is a giving circle of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
