Community grants available from the Carteret Community Foundation (July 2020)
The board of advisors of the Carteret Community Foundation is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving the local community in Carteret County and will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund, Pearl’s Pantry Fund, J. O. and Ruth Barbour Memorial Fund for Elementary Education in Carteret County and J. O. and Ruth Barbour Memorial Fund for Wildlife Habitat Conservation. Grants typically range from $500 to $5,000.
Applications are available online beginning July 17. Visit this page for information about applying. The deadline for applications is noon Aug. 18.
Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals. Funds are awarded by the board of advisors of the Carteret Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
