Community grants available from the Wake County Community Foundation (April 2020)

The board of advisors of the Wake County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving needs in Wake County and will be awarded from the Wake County Community Fund.

Grants typically range from $500 to $1,000. Only organizations with annual budgets under $500,000 are eligible to apply. Special consideration may be given to eligible organizations requesting general operating support.

Applications are available online beginning April 3. Visit this page for information about applying. The deadline for applications is noon May 5.

Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals. Funds are awarded by the board of advisors of the Wake County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our nonprofits to expand their impact in our local community,” said Katie Weeks, WCCF board president. “We are excited to partner with our local nonprofit community to continue supporting Wake County.”
