The Wake County Community Foundation (WCCF) will accept grant applications from June 30, 2023, to NOON on Aug. 1, 2023. Funds are available for qualified charitable organizations serving the local community. Organizations with annual budgets under $500,000 are eligible to apply.
Grants from the community grantmaking fund typically range from $500 to $1,000. Grants from the Friends of BOMA Charitable Endowment typically range from $500 to $1,500.
How to apply
WCCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF). Organizations must apply for grants using NCCF’s online application system.
Read the guidelines before you apply. Your application may not be considered if you fail to follow any of these guidelines.
If this is your first time applying, follow the instructions in Training Module I to create a profile. If your organization already has an account, use your information to log in.
Follow the instructions in Training Module II to add a grant application. Once registered, you can access more information about the application process.
Founded in 1991, the Wake County Community Foundation is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, WCCF uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to nonprofits that help the local community.
Grants will be awared from the following funds:
Wake County Unrestricted Endowment Fund which responds to changing community needs and to enhance the quality of community life within the county.
The Friends of BOMA Charitable Endowment which supports charitable uses in Wake and Durham Counties to strengthen and support the local community, the family, education, and to organizations serving the needs of veterans, active military personnel and their families.
