Morrisville Community Fund awards nearly $1,800 in grants
The Morrisville Community Fund, a fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation, has awarded $1,770 in grants to organizations supporting the local community.
The board of advisors granted:
- $590 to Morrisville Emergency Response Team for CERT member bags required items
- $590 to Western Wake Farmers Market for Seeding Our Market for the Future
- $590 to Shield North Carolina for general operating support
“It’s a privilege to invest in these local organizations,” said Liz Johnson, advisory board president of the Morrisville Community Fund. “This support shows how much we value their work.”
Founded in 2011, the Morrisville Community Fund uses dollars from their endowment fund to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.
