This graduate-level designation provides professionals in the nonprofit and financial services fields with specialized education in philanthropic planning. Through CAP, graduates are armed with the knowledge and tools needed to help professional advisors and their clients reach charitable giving, estate planning and wealth management goals.

“I am excited to be able to provide an enhanced scope of resources for professional advisors and their clients in order to reach their philanthropic and financial goals,” said Pope.

A native of Burlington, Pope received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in business administration from Elon University in 2001 and 2013 respectively. He lives in Hillsborough with his family.
