Wayne County Community Foundation awards $1,500 in grants
The Wayne County Community Foundation, a North Carolina Community Foundation affiliate, has awarded $1,500 in grants to three organizations supporting the local community.
The board of advisors granted:

- $500 to Kinetic Minds for general operating support
- $500 to Foundation of Wayne Community Collect for continued support of the WIOA Youth Program
Funds for 2024 grants came from WCCF’s community grantmaking fund. Each year, WCCF’s local volunteer advisory board uses dollars from its endowment fund to make grants to community needs it identifies through an annual community needs assessment.
