The endowment will accept grant applications from June 19, 2026, to NOON on July 21, 2026. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted, including late submissions due to technology issues.
Funds are available for qualified charitable organizations whose programs or activities support the general health and well-being of the residents of Person County, North Carolina. This includes organizations located outside of Person County if their programs and activities support residents of Person County.
A preference will be given to applications based on the endowment’s area of focus:
- Grants that address general physical and mental health.
- Grants that address the social determinants of health including economic stability, access to quality education, access to safe housing, and social and community services.
Organizations with programs or projects outside of the above focus areas but still dedicated to the general well-being of Person County residents, such as nonprofit arts or cultural organizations, are encouraged to apply.
This year, the endowment expects to award more than $150,000 in grants. Grants are expected to range from $10,000 to $20,000, with larger and smaller requests considered. Grants will not exceed $50,000.
