Louise Oriole Burevitch Endowment

The Louise Oriole Burevitch Endowment was founded by the noted Wilmington philanthropist, whose gifts are having a transformative effect on eastern North Carolina.

The North Carolina Community Foundation offers a competitive grants program from the Louise Oriole Burevitch Endowment in support of education, health and human services in eastern North Carolina.

Through the program, NCCF seeks proposals to support charitable organizations with programs, projects and general operations that serve eastern NC and focus on education, health or human services. Learn more about eligibility and the application process.

NCCF will accept applications for this program once during 2026 with a cycle that opens on July 3, 2026, and closes at NOON on Aug. 4, 2026. We expect to make awards in October.
