The North Carolina Community Foundation will accept applications for grants from the Louise Oriole Burevitch Endowment from July 3, 2026, to NOON Eastern on Aug. 4, 2026.
NCCF expects to accept applications from charitable organizations with programs, projects and general operations that serve eastern NC and focus on one of the following areas:

Starting in 2026, the Burevitch Endowment will accept applications from local, state and federal government entities.
As in prior years, grants are expected to range from $25,000 to $50,000 and will not exceed $50,000.
Education benefits students, teachers, school personnel within pre-K, K-12 and 4-year college and university education systems with a goal of escalating school success.
Health includes programs and services that yield positive impacts on the health and well-being of individuals, groups, and communities.
Human Services addresses basic human needs – food, clothing, shelter and safety.
Applicants must be nonprofit organizations that are qualified as tax-exempt public charities under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

NCCF will accept applications for this program between July 3, 2026, and NOON Eastern on Aug. 4, 2026.
