Carter Burchfield

Burchfield is a recipient of the Grayce Wills MacDonald and Ivan A. MacDonald Scholarship Endowment and the Laura Phillips Memorial Scholarship. He is pursuing a degree in nursing at Western Carolina University.

Burchfield credits his health science teacher, Mrs. Andrea Adams, with influencing him to enter the medical field, and his family for having a positive impact on his life.

At Robbinsville High School, Burchfield was involved in BETA Club, HOSA Club, and Spanish Club and led his class as the student body president all while playing baseball and being an exceptional student. He plans to return to his hometown of Robbinsville, NC, to serve his community after earning a doctorate degree in nursing.
