The Women Givers of Northeast NC is a giving circle of the North Carolina Community Foundation. The Women Givers leverages the power of collective giving through a local network that supports the community in a purposeful way. The Women Givers supports charitable organizations serving women, children and families in Camden, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans counties.
The Women Givers is designed to maximize women’s leadership in philanthropy by engaging and educating its membership and increasing charitable contributions.
Members contribute a minimum of $150 annually. Membership cost includes:
A junior membership is available for women age 45 and under. Junior members contribute a minimum of $75 annually.
Annual contributions are tax-deductible and may be paid via cash, stock transfer, distribution from IRA (if applicable), or grant from donor advised fund or private foundation. The Women Givers of Northeast NC also welcome donations through sponsorships, and members may make a higher annual donation.
Grant decisions are recommended by the giving circle’s members. All members are entitled to one vote that determines the organizations and programs that will receive annual funding.

The Women Givers of Northeast NC will accept grant applications from March 8, 2024, to NOON on April 9, 2024. Applications received after this deadline will not be accepted, including late submissions due to technology issues. Funds are available for qualified charitable organizations serving women, girls and families in the local community.
Grants typically range from $500 to $1,000. In 2021, Women Givers awarded $2,140 in grants through this competitive process.
Grants will be awarded to organizations serving women, children and families in Camden, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans counties.
The Women Givers of Northeast NC is a giving circle of the North Carolina Community Foundation. Organizations must apply for grants using NCCF’s online application system.
