The Cary Women’s Giving Network awarded $11,000 in grants to organizations supporting the local community:

• $7,000 to Cary Downtown Farmer’s Market for nutrition programs (Eat a Rainbow) 

• $2,000 to Esteamed Coffee, Inc., for general operating expenses  

• $2,000 to Period Kits North Carolina, Inc., for period kits for Wake County 

2024

The Cary Women’s Giving Network awarded $17,000 in grants to organizations supporting the local community:

• $7,000 to Equity Before Birth for general operating support
• $6,000 to Carying Place for general operating support
• $4,000 to Triangle Area Parenting Support for general operating support

2023

The members of the Cary Women’s Giving Network awarded $15,000 through their competitive grants program to the following:

• $3,000 to the Cary Downtown Farmer’s Market for Eat-A-Rainbow nutrition programs 
• $2,000 to the Cary Town Band 
• $5,000 to GiGi’s Playhouse for Down’s Syndrome Achievement Center: educational, therapeutic and career training programs 
• $5,000 to InterFaith Food Shuttle for Pathways to Ending Hunger in the Town of Cary and the Food Rescue Distribution Program

• $2,508 to Esteamed Coffee, Inc. for e-commerce startup
• $5,000 to Note in the Pocket for Clothed in Confidence
• $5,000 to PLM Families Together, Inc. for affordable housing for homeless families

2021

• $5,000 to Alliance Medical Ministry for comprehensive healthcare for working, uninsured adults living in Cary, NC
• $5,000 to Hope Center at Pullen to bring long-term stability to former foster youth
• $2,500 to FIGS of Wake County for the Dorcas/FIGS Partnership Program
• $1,500 to The Center for Volunteer Caregiving for updating technology to build capacity to serve more older adults

2020

• $6,000 to Christian Community in Action (Dorcas) for food security
• $5,000 to NAMI Wake County for support for virtual mental health programs
• $5,000 to PLM Families Together, Inc. for COVID-19 response for homeless families

2019

• $2,000 to The Carying Place, Inc. for life and fiscal management skills and transitional housing for homeless, working families with children
• $5,000 to StepUp Ministry for employment and life skills training for Cary Women and Children
• $7,000 to Wake Technical Community College Foundation for Fostering Bright Futures

• CASA for quality, affordable rental housing – $3,000 – for low income families and individuals
• Fill Your Bucket List Foundation – $3,000 – for wishes for Cary residents
• Green Chair Project – $5,000 – for providing “Sweeter Dreams” beds for kids in Cary
• Hope Center at Pullen – $3,000 – for preventing homelessness with young people aging out of foster care

• Center for Volunteer Caregiving – $5,000 – for capacity building through staff development
• PLM Families Together – $4,500 – for the Home for Families Program
• Triangle Family Services – $4,500 – for the DOSE Batterer’s Intervention program

2016

• Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities – $5,000 – for Respite Care for Cary citizens
• Rebuilding Together of the Triangle – $2,500 – for providing a safe and happy home for a Cary family
• Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian – $2,500 – for their outreach to the Wrenn Drive Neighborhood in Cary

2015

• Cary Family YMCA – $5,000 – for support of the Y Learning program at Kingswood Elementary
• Note in the Pocket – $5,000 – for updates to their Distribution Center, allowing more families to be served
• The Hope Center at Pullen – $5,000 – for general operating support for services to young adults aging out of the foster care system
• Transitions LifeCare (formerly Hospice of Wake County) – $2,000 – a music therapy program for children dealing with grief
