- $3,000 to Elizabeth City Habitat for Humanity for a home repair program
- $1,000 to Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina for improving health outcomes for children with critical illnesses in Camden, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans counties
- $2,500 to Perquimans County Schools Education Foundation for Academy for Girls
- $1,650 to Ronald McDonald House of Eastern NC for general operating expenses for funding families of Northern Albemarle counties
- $1,140 Sayer’s Creek Baptist Church for SCBC Brotherhood Community Outreach
- $1,500 The Open Door of Perquimans County, Inc., for Bagley’s Meal Program
- $3,000 The Salvation Army of Elizabeth City for emergency social services

The Northern Albemarle Community Foundation awarded more than $70,000 in local grants from the HCWGMW Fund. The nonprofit organzations, including:
- $11,500 to the Albemarle Family YMCA for its new Youth Leadership Swim program in collaboration with College of the Albemarle
- $10,000 to the Albemarle Area United Way for its impact program, Community Care Collaborative
- $5,000 to Dream Hunt & Fish Program for summer camp scholarships at Camp Cale for Boys & Girls Club kids.
- $18,790 to Boys & Girls Club | Elizabeth City Unit for their Healthy Habits for All program in collaboration with P.A.L. (Police Athletic League).
- $25,000 to Camp Cale for its new “Trail for Everyone” project.
