Grants typically range from $500 to $3,000.
How to apply
NACF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF). Organizations must apply for grants using NCCF’s online application system.
Read the guidelines before you apply. Your application may not be considered if you fail to follow any of these guidelines.
If this is your first time applying, follow the instructions in Training Module I to create a profile. If your organization already has an account, use your information to log in.
Follow the instructions in Training Module II to add a grant application. Once registered, you can access more information about the application process.
Founded in 2001, the Northern Albemarle Community Foundation is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, NACF uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to nonprofits that help the local community.
Grants will be awarded from the:
Northern Albemarle Community Foundation Unrestricted Endowment.
Judge Thomas Watts Fund, originally established by the Elizabeth City Jaycees and the Winifred Jones Wood Fund.
Women Givers of Northeast North Carolina, supporting the needs of women and children in Camden, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans Counties.
