Leslie Ann serves as vice president and head of the Community Investment and Engagement Department, which oversees and connects the Foundation’s grantmaking, community leadership and donor relations. Through the work of this department, NCCF serves and strengthens our investments in nonprofits and students, our network of affiliate foundations across the state and our generous family of fundholders. She is energized by helping individuals, families, groups and organizations develop strategies to realize their philanthropic goals.
Leslie Ann came to NCCF in 2011, having worked for more than a decade in the field of child mental health in North Carolina and Maryland. A proud Demon Deacon, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wake Forest University. She continued with graduate studies in psychology at the College of William & Mary and completed her Nonprofit Management Certificate at Duke University.
Leslie Ann is an active volunteer, facilitating programs for SAFEchild, serving as chair of the advisory council of Read and Feed and as a member of the board of Wake County Smart Start. She is a past president of the Junior Woman’s Club of Raleigh and a 2018 graduate of Leadership North Carolina. Otherwise, you will find Leslie Ann singing in her car, hosting a gathering of family and friends, reading the latest selection from her book list or relaxing somewhere by the water.
